Caregiver Course
The Caregiver Course is aligned with the Japanese Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) – Nursing Care sector, preparing learners for employment in elderly care facilities and home-care settings in Japan. The course develops practical competencies in personal care, mobility support, use of assistive devices, hygiene management, and safe care practices. Learners are trained to follow care plans, respect client dignity, and work effectively within a team-based care environment. Emphasis is placed on occupational safety, infection control, and preventing caregiver fatigue. The program also introduces Japanese workplace expectations such as discipline, responsibility, communication, and respect for rules, supporting smooth integration into Japan’s caregiving workforce. Graduates are prepared to meet the skill standards required for the SSW Nursing Care category and related on-the-job assessments.
